The thinking behind the work

The original arrangement connected a powder room, a lower shower area, and the mudroom through an awkward sequence of openings.

Revise the Connections

One side was closed off, and the former shower area was opened to the mudroom.

The space was converted into a dog-washing area accessed from the mudroom.

Patterned flooring, wallpaper, lighting, and shelving brought the powder room together as a distinct space.

The renovation established clearer room functions and a more coordinated powder room finish.
